Meet Miley!
MileysBags was founded by Miley Weiner in 2023. A feeding tube user herself, she experienced firsthand the feelings of stigmatization for her medical device and, after having no choice but to run her feeds in school, began adapting her own backpacks to be feeding tube accessible. After receiving compliments on her bags and seeing how confident they made her feel, Miley became determined to share her new creation with other tubies. Almost immediately she opened up her small business, and thus began working hard to maintain and grow it, eventually sending hundreds of backpacks to feeding tube users in need. Now a freshman at Stanford University, Miley has expanded MileysBags from a small craft project in her bedroom to a global e-commerce business, selling her backpacks on mainstream platforms like Etsy and Amazon. She hopes that her bags will inspire resilience and pride in tubies everywhere, teaching them that they should never be ashamed of their medical differences.
